What to Expect
How about something for Adults?:
Want to participate in something you don't see listed? Contact us - we're always on the lookout for people like you!
Life Lessons (Adult Sunday School) meets at 11:00 a.m. after coffee fellowship.
Please see the Adult Programs "more" button below for details.
What about my kids?:
For the little ones (0 to 4) we have a staffed child development center (Nursery). During the school year our children (5 and older) worship with the congregation for part of the 9:15 service and then have the option of Sunday School , returning late in the service to participate in "Moments with Children".
We love kids and learn so much about God from them! Ask an usher or a greeter to take you to the children, youth or nursery areas!
During the summer for our children in worship, there are activity folders available. Ask an usher to give you one. OR, if they get real antsy, - they may join April in the nursery. She has craft kits to do with them. The nursery is always available for the little ones (0 to 4).
Ask an usher or a greeter to take you to the children, youth or nursery areas, or to give you an activity folder - its up to you!
9:15 am, Worship Service
The doors to worship stand open from before we start to sing,
and the doors remain open throughout the service. They stand open
in silent witness that you are welcome to enter whenever
you approach the singing and the service! 144 S. Church St, Coloma, MI (see map above)
What should I wear?
Our service is come as you are. If dress and hat is your style, no-problem, just please don't be put out if pastor is wearing shorts and sandals.
What is the "style" of worship?
Our 9:15 worship service uses piano, organ and choir, and occasionally acoustical guitar, banjo or bell choir. We use projection for hymns and prayers. Video illustrations are used to connect Scripture to our daily lives.
Coffee Fellowship: Please come downstairs to the Fellowship Hall after worship for Coffee Fellowship. Every Sunday there's plenty to eat, along with coffee and juice, and friendly faces, too. Volunteers sign up to provide food, cleanup, etc., on Sundays, and each group works to provide the best they can bake. Come for the food and stay for the fellowship!
